NEW Attendance Requirement:

The purpose of the pistol league is that of our organization: to help, teach and support women in the shooting sports as well as build fellowship in our sisterhood. The team concept within the league was developed so that bonds could be built between participants and to create a more enjoyable experience. Over the past couple of leagues we have begun to have an attendance problem which has begun to erode the level of excitement and camaraderie once experienced by league participants.

Beginning with this league, "banking" scores will no longer be permitted. When you sign-up for league you will need to be able to commit to shooting ALL 5 WEEKS.

If you have a conflict with one or more of the dates, you need to postpone your participation to a season when you can make all of the dates. If a participant signs up for league and does not attend all five evenings of shooting, the participants privileges to participate in league will be suspended for a period of two full seasons before they will be eligible to participate in league again. There will undoubtedly be situations where an absence is necessitated due to an unexpected illness, these situations will be dealt with on a case by case basis and must be approved by the league chair.

A word about ammunition:

Participants will shoot a total of 60 rounds per evening for a total of 300 rounds for the season. Given the ammunition shortage, it is recommended that you obtain all of the required ammunition prior to registering. There will be a limited amount of .22 ammunition made available to us for purchase at Winchester Gallery, please let us know if you need assistance locating your ammunition for league.
