Do you need a Texas Hunter Education Course?
If you were born AFTER Sept. 2, 1971,
you will need to take a hunter's education class to hunt in Texas. Calendar of

New Mexico Pronghorn Hunt
The hunt is going to take place 18 miles West of Portales, New Mexico.
The Pronghorns will score over 80”. The price for the 2010 hunt will be $2,500.00, and it includes food, lodging, and guide services. The hunting will be done mostly from a vehicle, it will be a lot like an African safari. We can arrange for the shots to be around 75 to 150 yards.

Range: Quail Creek Range

Range Fee: $15.00 per person/day (paid on site)
Directions: Take I-35W North towards Denton/OK. Take the exit for FM 1171
go east on 1171. 1171 turns into a private road past the cement plant,
follow the signs for Quail Creek Range. ¼ mile west down FM 1171
Misc:
Range Rules are Per RWVA Specs. Leave rifles in the car until after the safety briefing. Quail Creek Valley
is a public range. No FMJ is allowed. All ammo must be soft point or hollow point. NO alcohol is allowed on
the premises! We will be using the private police range for the Appleseed shoot.
We have 44 slots available for this event.
This event will be .22 rim fire rifle only event.
Age limit – no one under 12 is allowed to shoot

Any ladies are invited on the hunt. I can sell 8 more spots on the hunt at this time, so space is limited.

There will be a total of 14 in the main lodge and if there is greater interest, they also have additional
lodging as well. The dates are March 18-20th, 2011. The lodge is located about 55 miles northwest of Omaha, NE.
The price is $1,000 per person (regular price is $1,499 per person).
All interested hunters should contact Tracey for more info and to get registered.
I will be driving up and ladies are welcome to ride along with me.
If you're flying, fly into Omaha or Sioux City airports.
The hunt includes meals, drink, 50 rounds of sporting clays, licenses, bird cleaning, cart rental,
and guides. Not included is personal pro shop purchases, sales tax (5.5%), shot shells and gratuity.
Judy has told me she will be going on the hunt, so I hope to get a few more DIVA's on the hunt as well.
